CRV Awards 2022
Robert Upward was asked to perform with band & @grimfawkner the song I wrote for Country Racing Victoria to open their awards night at the convention Centre. This was the first event for them for nearly 3 years.
I first wrote this track for their TV & Radio advertising campaign a number of years ago. Last year they asked me to make it a song!
Country Racing Victoria have always been such great supporters of live music and musicians.
I really appreciate Darren & his team @country_racing and of course @wearebalanceau the creative advertising rockstars!
When they asked me to write & record the song we had a two week window to do so before another lockdown.
The players on this track are some of the best touring & session musicians in the country.
To be able to get together and record after two years of no touring, it was just pure joy to be in one room & doing what we love.
